The reason I am writing this is because of the Easter weekend coming up. If you are a spiritual person and you enjoy statues and tranquil hideaway this could be an awesome place to visit. This establishment is base upon a farm which is 52-hectares. It is perfect to spend an hour or more with family or yourself focusing on your life and your spiritual thoughts. Being in the temporal world right now these statues and environment make it so easy and enjoyable to relax here.
Holy Family Hills is located at Barangay Tamborong sits on a 52-hectare hilly property surrounded by vegetation, a river, mango, and other trees, as well as farm animals. If you go to Guimaras island and take a day tour Holy Family Hills will be part of your itineraries.
As you enter the place you’ll find yourself walking around and exploring the statues just like I did.
Today is Good Friday, Good Friday is one of only two days in the year that Roman Catholics do not have Mass. As I’ve started to walk around, the different statues surrounding the place will surely capture your attention.
We stayed almost an hour roaming around and reflecting ourselves as we visited the 14 stations. Before we decided to go to our next destination we took a shortstop nearby the big cross located in the front side. There was even a small souvenir stall and store located in the entrance part of the place.
Before we end our Holy Family visit, we took some photos together with my sister. She’s my travel buddy for my Western Visayas journey. What a great escape!
Let there be peace and love to everyone. Happy travels and have a great weekend.
